I'm sure this is true if he put any dates in the original book. But, fundamentally, those who called the tech stock market rise in the last few years of the 1990's an anomaly, and constantly said it would crash, were actually "right" in 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000 -- even though the "result" did not happen until much later. I think the signs have been appearing for many, many years that we have been approaching the end of the age, and yes, perhaps the wishful thinking of many was translated into premature prognostications. Yet, the end result will be the same.
