Japan has been "collapsing" for the past 15 years. As for "China kept out of the crapper by massive internal civil projects, not from the strength of its markets", well, I guess that any Keynesian policy applied in a country the size of China can't be but MASSIVE indeed.... BTW, most countries would like to fare as well as China and "keep out of the crapper" while sustaining a 6-7% annual growth rate!!
