Jim,
Now the story in WSJ this morning is of the rush by unaffected citizens to get prescriptions for Cipro (an antibiotic). Stories of hysterical parents berating physicians for their unwillingness to write the prescription for a family that lives over 200 miles from the site of the Florida case (and who's children display none of the symptoms).

The family is probably in more danger from Alligators than Anthrax - is there a prescription for that?

IMHO, I think part of the reason the Anthrax story is getting so much press coverage is that it happened to a media person.

regards,
jh
