Hi Mrs P, I know a few people in recruiting and executive search and certainly the business is down, but then
it was red hot for a while. Unemployment rates got all the way down to the late 1960's lows as we reached the
zenith of this last economic expansion around the turn of the millenium.

When you you at these longer term unemployment charts it seemed to fit right in with the pattern of an economy
that was hitting on more cylinders than it had. It's interesting to see the time lag where even this August and
early Sept the front page of the papers were talking about making it easier for illegal aliens and migrant workers
to stay in the US and get drivers licenses, since they were helping the US labor pool.

It's interesting that those looking at through the rear window, still thought that the Labor pool needed an increase
of workers in August of this year.
