Never understood the difference between the types of Asbestos until your posts.

Interesting stuff. I can understand the over reaction to asbestos though. Many thousands have died from it's effects and it crippled our insurance business LLoyds of London. They usually had general insurance cover contracts only, but the USA courts had the little guy win over the Insurance co. Even though the employers of many big businesses were directly to blame for ignoring health hazards.

Would the bonded material still be safe during demolition?

I know that several buildings in Europe are deserted and covered in plastic sheeting because of the Asbestos content. There is little doubt that the Asbestos problems were inflicted on us, even though we knew better. That is... the problems were known about since the 1930's, yet no actions were taken apart from a few small cos.
