I'm not 100% sure this is Soma Networks, but it looks like it. I searched the Qualcomm site but can't find "Soma".

The other approach, which offers more promise for robust broadband links over the next three years, is MMDS. It used to be wireless cable and offers 186 megahertz of spectrum (6MHz times 31 channels). In the past it sprayed TV from such vantages as the Empire State Building in NYC and it can reach a 30-mile radius. With smart antennas incorporated in notebooks, the technology does not require point-to-point accuracy (you can walk around the house or office without losing your link). Sprint and WorldCom are betting big time on this technology. Soma is using a Qualcomm 3G license to deliver the technology quickly to residences and home offices and benefits from the R&D and components already tested and available. Sprint and WorldCom are testing the Soma devices.
