I disagree that the gov't has to give an indication that it is needed. As an individual, I don't like SA's attitude toward the US in response to the WTC attack and our attacks on Afghanistan. As an individual, I can take the initiative to make my displeasure known by voting with my dollars. If enough other individuals also vote against supporting SA's economy with their dollars, I believe it can make an impression.

Maybe I should start a "Boycott Saudi Oil Products Petition" thread.
