Next we look at the market news after the close and earning scheduled....again for tomorrow....

"After the close Novellus (NVLS) reported earning in line with expectations but a bleak conference call resulted in selling of the stock in the after hours market.

Cognex (CGNX) beat expectations by 1 cent but the stock was sold down hard since the company warned that both earnings and revenue will be lower in 2002.

St. Jude Medical (STJ) beat expectations by 3 cents, the stock also showed up on the screening.

Diversa (DVSA) reported 7 cents better than expected and an increase of 62.4% year over year increase in revenues.
A few earnings scheduled today include; BBOX, BGEN, ITWO, IBM, INTC, JNJ, STJ, FRX, MLNM, PXLW, RFMD, TER, UHS, VRTS and WM.

Metris (MXT) is was sold off hard last week, however, they reaffirmed earnings and may make a play today since their earnings come out Wednesday before the open. A few other stocks of interest that we'll be watching with earnings this week include, ESRX, IMNX, PCP and PLCM."

This gives the trader additional stocks to watch, or avoid as the case may be.
