Someone from Asia sent me an email opinionating that the Anthrax stunt is being perped by folks who want to heighten alertness against bio-terrorism and to ensure total and enduring support for the war in Afghanistan. And what seems to support this opinion is that the anthrax appears to be of US origin.

His argument was that if terrorists were involved, they would have used sure-to-kill stuff, like botulism, not anthrax which is non-contagious and which could be handled rather easily, and to be sure, the perps didn't expect anyone to die.

Apparently, the victim who died in Florida had inhaled a bit much of the spores in a confined space and he was handicapped by his age of 65?

Isn't it interesting or even "fishy" that the letter containing anthrax was sent to the people who had rented apartments to the terrorists?
