It is good news. It shortens the review period by "many" months. I'm not sure I'd use the news to start my next year's tax planning, though (hahaha).
Still, I'm interested that the AGEN process was tried on several types of cancer, not just renal. Do you know what the preliminary results were regarding the others? It could be that AGEN sought the accelerated review for just the one because adding multiple ones would have complicated the administrative review process. Once one is processed, however, the steps the others can follow, and the unanticipated questions that arose while processing the first, will be known and established, and processing the other uses might not take as long. We'll see.
