I still think NEXTWAVE AND LEAP should kiss and make up "if" there is any bad blood between them. The possibilities for cost savings in G&A, Marketing, advertising, branding and infastructure contracts should make this deal a "No brainer".
Using your idea for high speed internet access in rural areas on these systems should fill both Nextwaves and Leaps missions of cheap local minutes and local internet access. Nextwave has the fund$ available to do both networks and end up mostly debt free, No?
By the way thanks for the maps showing the coverage of these two carriers.
If this marriage happens I expect the combined companies to go after other CDMA carriers and available spectrum.
