Here's a suggestion: If you have a question for me, approach me directly. Addressing my husband in this way is cheesy.

I probably should stay out of these things, esp. when I have no beef with either side of the discussion, but Greg responded to you husband about you because your husband replied to his post talking about you. I don't think your husband did anything wrong in any way by defending you, but in doing so he raised points that Greg probably felt needed to be responded to. It still may have been more appropriate to just respond to your husband saying something like "I will have to ask her why she...", rather then "why does she...", but I'm not sure I would call Greg's question cheesey in its context.
