I think that the fact that Tom Daschal looks like crap is to be expected...that has to be quite a mindf*ck to know that you personally are targeted by terrorists. Tom Brokaw too.

Since 9/11, I have espoused a moral reaction to the terrorists. Feeling that it is important that we don't respond in a way that sacrifices the values which we hold dearly. I still believe this intellectually, but my heart no longer has any boundaries along these lines.
