Can anyone tell me just what the risks/side effects of Cerestat use are?
I thought that Cerestat was a competitive inhibitor of the NMDA receptor and wouldn't have the psychotic/hallucinogenic effects of noncompetitive inhibitors (such as MK801).
Also, as a naive thought, was CNSI's action an independent move?
That is, did they do it (suspend trial for further evaluation) without
a request from the FDA to do so. If that's the case, can we hope/interpret this as an overly conservative move?
Call me a fool, but I'm increasing my position in CNSI. Wish CNSI luck.
