Our response doesn't seem very well thought out and you'd better be ready to work the percentages. The abstract part is our response to an act of terror. You're presumption is that the Taliban is a legitimate representative of the people of Afghanistan. That is just ill informed unless you considered Idi Amin the legitimate ruler of Uganda. You sound angry, you are justified in being angry, but I'd be careful about smashing crap-hole little countries to bits, especially when the people there have nothing to lose. Do you remember Viet Nam? This isn't a war of politics it is a war of ideology. Those are very hard to win. And I say Che did more dead than he ever did alive.
