CMC, you said: "The United States does not have to "do business" according to Islamic, Arab, Asian or any other ways"
...and WS :"...the CIA began providing weapons and funds -- eventually totaling more than $3 billion -- to a fratricidal alliance of seven Afghan resistance groups"
You're both right.
The US committed guns and money, and it has caused greater damage than innocent American taxpayer/victims could have imagined, if we knew. But, of course, we didn't know.
We know now. The answer is either:
(a)kill 'em all and have a ball, every few years, in ever-changing alliances and fascinating new technology (Geopolitical Nintendo), or
(b)stop sending money, weapons and covert support to all combatants (cut off their allowance & get real jobs)
Item (b) seems to be a difficult choice for our lawmakers, who clearly fail to represent the interests of Taxpayer/Victims.
It's up to US consumers to remove hundreds of billions of dollars from that region's oil income, starting immediately.
We need to find a way for accountable oil and gas purchases.
The companies that provide this choice will make billions... I and millions of others will invest in their stock, their gas, diesel, and if there were a way, also their electric production, which already is separable in California and is mostly domestic gas & hydro anyway. It's patriotic, and it'll improve the economy of suppliers we can trust. |
