ot from all the earnings hoopla that now has INTC just about even from close in AH <g> re: It is the same as people driving 12 hrs to avoid flying, event though the 12 hour drive will have a higher mortality associated with it. Ah statistics! Did you hear about the three statisticians going duck hunting? First guy shoots and misses the duck by one foot too high; the second guy shoots at same duck and misses by one foot too low. The third guy puts down his gun and says: 'we got him!' I'll be here all week folks. RO P.s I know hunters can be women as well. Probability is far greater than even odds all three would be men though. Assume 90% of hunters are men. Fair to say out of 10 times telling the joke tell only once will a woman be referenced? Hmmm. Make it one of them ubiquitous urn problems. seems to me it's an urn of 30 balls, 3 are red and 27 white. If pulling three balls out what is chance that any of the three is red? Better than 10% but by how much? Let's not get into: of statisticians how many are men since I bet it would be fairly similar to hunting % though a tad lower.
