Potential shorts based on candles dabum and Kb -- I have a problem shorting NANO, KWK, EVG, etc. since the volume is so thin. Stocks we considered shorting today and tomorrow include: AFCI ALTR BDAL CCMP CDIS CERN CSCO DORL DPMI EFDS EXAR FULL GENZ IDTI LLTC MCHP MCRL MERQ NMTC NTIQ PHTN PLAB PRSF SIVB (I shorted several of these today; unfortunately Ameritrade could not find shares to allow me to short other of these). A few potential "long" swing trades include: ADRX BIGT CLRS CRIS ELNT IBAS INFY OMNY SABA TEVA TMPW Your observations and comments would be appreciated. After 4:00 PM 10/15/01, our colleagues reviewed about 500 candlestick charts (NASDAQ only) to cull out those above plus a few others where the volume is too low to consider.
