concerning Border crossing, my 2 cents: I am a landed Immigrant in Canada. (I have a house in Montreal, but live currently in Albany and Florida ) I am an Austrian Citizen! This just ,so you understand my position. I drove to Montreal for the weekend! Crossing the Canadian Border at 6 pm Saturday, big line up, they checked every car, returning to the States Monday around 7 pm, I was the only car and I was not checked at all at the Us immigration point Champlain in NY ! Now go figure ! ( Who is lax here?)
