Any significant competition is probably a year off. SiGe is completely different from Ge semiconductors. You might look at

sige.com

for some background.

I know that there has been a large research activity in this area. Out of interest, you might compare the charts of TQNT, ANAD, and VTSS with ATMI, who is in the epitaxial deposition area and just acquired Lawrence Semiconductor which has done a lot of work in the SiGe area. I would speculate that ANAD has the most exposure to competition.
