TB, soon he'll be five and off to school and you'll think "Heck! That was quick". Blink twice and he'll be 25 [keep your fingers crossed] and you will have noticed that the clean sheet of birth has been decidedly tarnished, bashed around edges, if not smack in the centre and you'll be grateful for small mercies. By then, you'll be entering your dotage, losing your mind and notice sideways glances which seem to say "Hmmm, the old man's looking a bit dodgy...
