My comment on Intel:

Intel is coming out of a price war with AMD. They went through a transition to P4 and Rambus that allowed AMD to arguably beat them on price/performance. The advantage is going back to Intel. Thus it is likely that Intel's performance will improve. Revs, may stay the same, but margins will rise.

However, this is somewhat independent of the economy as a whole. Although it may cause a general rally initially, there will soon be an opportunity to short QQQ hedged with long INTC.
