Nov, 2001 Wired Magazine, page 159 through 163. Atticle titled "Be There Now" discusses Vindigo's development of location based information software for the new generation of wireless phones and QCOM's success n GPS assisted wireless products. An imaginative article discusses the location based products. I was a little disappointed when they said QCOM technology could pinpoint locarion "within 150 feet in Urban areas". Actually, QCOM claims accuracy within 10 to 30 meters depending on the location. Except for concrete canyons and inside buildings, accuracy tends to be on the 10 meter end of the range.
