Ariel Sharon -- "We will wage a war without mercy against the terrorists. Only criminal terrorists could dream of assassinating elected members of a democratic state" Netanyahu is very charismatic and a much easier "sell" outside of Israel, but if they target anymore Israeli politicians, don't you think Sharon will be insulated from any criticism as he authorizes forces to strike back? Would not the country rally around him?
