Richster,

Get this. A couple of months ago my wife made reservations to fly to South Africa to do some volunteer aids work in the country for a period of one month in January 2002. In light of recent events and a general cooling to the whole idea, she has decided not to go. She called the airline (Virgin Air I think) and asked for a refund, which they refused to do. Does this seem right to you? It's not like its a late cancellation or anything, I mean it is 3 months away. Any thoughts or recourse on this matter you know of?
