This Dumb and Dumber on IBM!

11:01 (Dow Jones) Merrill Lynch analysts Thomas Kraemer and James Berlino
can't seem to get it right when it comes to IBM. On Tuesday, ahead of Big
Blue's 3Q results, the Merrill analysts cut their 4Q earnings estimate to $1.27
a share from $1.35. The analysts said the future demand for IBM's products will
either fall or remain stagnate. Now, a day after Merrill cut its target and IBM
backed 4Q views, Kraemer and Berlino are at it again. But this time, they are
raising their 4Q estimate to $1.34. (DLF)
