Kenneth, while Americans are unanimously supported of our President (something over 90%), during this difficult time. It gives me comfort to know just how far left and blindly ideologically driven so many of the former Al Gore supporters are on this thread.

There was a time (granted for a short duration), when I thought a lot of Americans shared your point of view. However, I've come to realize that most people who voted for the Democratic party in the last election cycle, are no where near as fanatical as the Democrats on this thread are, many of which proport to represent the party.

I just spoke with my stepfather last night who is an ardent Democrat. And he went out of his way to praise the way President Bush is handling himself and leading us during this crisis. He never voted for George W. and had bought into the stereotype of him portrayed in the mainstream media as a bumbling unintelligent fool. Now, for him to do such a complete 180 turn and say so many wonderful things about him, crystallized in my mind why I see you as such a partisan political animal.

I wish Senator Daschle and his staff the best of good fortunes in dealing with the malicious attack on them. At least he has the courage to find common ground with our President, and support him in his effort to overcome the enemies of freedom.
