I think Chris stated the case well: Message 16517810 We are not intentionally trying to kill civilians. But as I said before, there is no weapon that can tell the difference between a soldier and a civilian and kill only soldiers. They just don't exist. The consequence of that is that currently in military operations civilians are killed. Does that mean that the US must stop its efforts to get bin Laden and his cohorts and punish those who shelter him and his ilk? You may think so; I do not. And the great majority of Americans and the President od the United States do not.
