I searched every english-language arab paper today, and could not find a single reference to this story (and it's not the time difference, because the Jerusalem Post and other non-arab newspapers carried the story prominantly). But there was plenty of anti-American bashing and stories about injustices to Arabs. It's no wonder that the poor in these arab nations, who don't have access to cnn or other news media, are so well indoctrinated to the extremist position.
