Israel Shahak was, of course, psychotic.

Let us begin with the fact that the Halacha generally forbids a Jew - even if he is a doctor - to save the life of a goyim.

Gee, tell this to Dr. Jonas Salk or Dr. Albert Sabin, or the many other Jewish Nobel Prize Winners in Medicine; or the thousands of Jewish doctors who toil every day in every part of the world saving the lives of patients of every kind. The stories of such dedicated physicians fill volume after volume (none of which Shahak ever read apparently).

Not to mention "Doctors Without Borders" which sends volunteer doctors to treat people in every part of the world, and has heavy participation by Jewish doctors.:

"We are by nature an organization that is unable to tolerate indifference. We hope that by arousing awareness and a desire to understand, we will also stir up indignation and stimulate action." -- Rony Brauman, MD, Former President, MSF

Dr. Brauman is Jewish, of course.

So this was all disgusting anti-semitism on Shahak's part. The most interesting observation I ever heard about Shahak was that the Nazis spared him because they realized that he had become deranged, and would do more damage to Jews than they ever could.
