JF, I'm afraid the problem is deeper than that. Performance just doesn't sell like it used to. Like Kash mentioned on the Mod thread, if a 3.0 GHz PC were to become available tomorrow, it would not sell for much more than the existing 2.0 GHz PC. Funny how AMD is trying to come up with arbitrary performance numbers at a time when performance only matters to those suffering from "Hot Rod" syndrome. And the hotrodders already know the real story behind clock speed, "quantispeed," and performance, so AMD's marketing stunt is pointless to begin with. Tenchusatsu
