re: Well, actually, a consumer that is fooled by this marketing strategy probably would not notice what the relative speed of the processor was.

Sometime during the life of that computer they will talk to somebody that has some knowledge, and they will find out they have been duped. It will probably happen sooner than later, as they brag about their new PC.
