ROTFL! So the Russians are gonna help us with our little anthrax problem, are they? If it's true that the specimen delivered to Dashle was "weapons-grade", it could have only come from one of three sources:

1) Domestically, ie, disgruntled "lone nut" unabomber type working in a U.S. government lab, who diverted some...and wants revenge for some demented reason

2) Iraq...if true, then we're not getting at the whole problem by going after the Taliban and OB Laden. The implications here would be grave, because at some point we will need to destroy those facilities and the rest of the current Iraqi leadership (like we should have done in '91).

3) Russia...even more ominous, because it implies that the terrorists were able to purchase the anthrax, probably in soize. Were they also able to purchase smallpox? Nukes? Who knows....

In and of itself, anthrax delivered throught the mail is not a terribly effective bioterror weapon. If they could rent a crop duster, and fly over, say, an NFL or World Series game in progress it could be a whole different story.
