What you have missed is the fact that ALA is not a big player in 3G or wireless for that matter. wireless is ony part of the network solution. for compleate solution you need optics, IP/ATM(just recently many carrier in Eu or US(CIngular) started to deploy ATM for wireless network. As for DT contract it is a master agreement As a employee of telecom sector you should know that this means MONEY were OK by board of DT, so it is not PR only my friend. Broadband network in Germany will handle evrything from data, voice, 911, video etc. BTW, ALA responded to France news much more then others like Siemens. More money in carrier packet means more spemnding in other areas beyond 3G. Expact Germany and UK to follow, what means much more $ for BT and DT, where pirce of lincences were 5-8 times of that in France. ZO
