:-) No, I don't think that this petition has had any effect at this point.

I was thinking of the terrorist acts themselves. I see them as the cause of the slump in demand for oil products. I am surmising that this, also, may be a goal of Bin Laden since he has animosity toward the Saudi Government.

In a way, I think that conservation that is based on the idea of not helping to fund the bad guys, may be more effective than many other conservation motivators of the past.
