Here we go again - Invitrogen sues Incyte over genomic patents WILMINGTON, Del., Oct 17 (Reuters) - Invitrogen Corp. (NasdaqNM:IVGN - news), a maker of biotechnology products, sued the genomics information company Incyte Genomics Inc. (NasdaqNM:INCY - news) on Wednesday for alleged infringement of three Invitrogen patents that fostered the ``genomics revolution,'' court papers say. Invitrogen alleged in the lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court in Delaware, that Incyte made commercial use of patented inventions that were intended to be used for research purposes only. The lawsuit seeks a jury trial on its demands that Incyte be barred from further alleged infringement and that unspecified damages be awarded...
