I'm not a big fan of the subsidy, but this is an unusual situation. Other than Southwest Airlines I think they are among the worst run and most unscrupulous companies we have in America. Southwest will survive and thrive imo.

You sure like to put words in my mouth. These people will get unemployment (which is government help) and Bush is working to extend the length of the benefits, which I am for. More for that than helping the airlines in principal, but realize that big airlines really may go out of business without help.

As a hint to debating, why not ask me what my position is instead of telling me?
