You are both full of it, or have no knowledge of recent history. Yes, AMD did have the contract and Intel came in with a low ball offer and took it away. Intel won the x-box contract but at the price of a paper thin profit. Great victory for Intel! On the other hand, it allowed AMD to concentrate its resources on getting the mobile Athlon out and then server chips. Sometimes the best deals are the ones you don't get. Yeah, yeah, yeah. If AMD wins the business, it's good. If AMD loses it, it's good. I never, ever, want to lose any business to my major, make it only, competitor. Give us a break.
