From 3Q01 Press Release: "at more than 7.7 million units, remained at the record level of the immediate-prior quarter" So, basically flat but no more K6, re-entered mobile market, and entered MP market so the sharp drop in ASP must have been the result of some serious price competition by both players but largely at AMD's expense -PT
