Tomorrow is the one month anniversary of this thread (and the number of posts here in such a short period must be a certain record at SI - very nearly one post for every victim of this catastrophe that has befallen all of us and others). We all deplore and mourn the reasons behind it becoming necessary. I wanted to nevertheless extend my great thanks and appreciation to Ken - "FaultLine" - for creating it, moderating it - and I have always been of the opinion that "moderated" threads were un-American but that's another topic and more related to stocks ;-) - with such a responsible and gentle hand, and also all of you here who have provided so much effort and insight to myself and others in a way that would never have been possible a decade ago. Forget the commercial side - this discussion is what makes the Internet such a powerful and much-needed medium. Especially in a time like this.

God knows I have not agreed with many here at SI on issues concerning stock trading, but I will say now that this thread has shown what is great in America. It has been moderate, responsible, open and generally fair-minded. None of us knows for sure where the events will take us in the coming days, months and years ahead, but it is heart-warming indeed to see so many of you engaging directly toward a path of understanding how we might solve some very cruel forces at work around us now. For that, I would like to personally thank each and every one of you.
