Richard, last write up is for you . I liked your plan of today, for shoring up forlorn shorts, better than yeaterday's; let me,see if I am right: your plan is to take Vivus to new highs, 30?,35?,40?, which will enable shorts like JohnP Carney to short it again? and ?add to his previous short, ( unless of course he already had to cover his shorts on the way up ), am I correct? I like this plan a lot better. We are naw being assisted for your info by Margarita who will be snooping the wires for us and dig up any Vivus good news! Good.
What a day! Up ~ 4 points presplit! And that without the Joslin Clinic study which came out at 1615!!( I guess there goes the theory that " this bad management is trying to manipulate the market and the price of the stock " ! I agree only with the word bad: that was bad manipulation: they should have released the study this morning at 0930! don't you think? (gg).
It is too late now to go into the significance of the Joslin study. Perhaps Dale or Edderd can tellus ( correct me ) Re what is his Clinic: briefly, to my best recollection, the Joslin-Lahey clinic in Boston is the premiere ,world wide clinc on management of diabetes and it's complications; it is a multispecialty clinic with Diabetologists. Surgeons, cardiologists, Urologists, neurologists etc etc who handle all the Multiform complicat. of diabetes. It's specialists hold chairs at Harvard and Boston Univ. They have wriiten and published extesively on the subject all the way from individual articles such as this one , to whole textbooks on the subject ane it is were celebrities go , such as Mary Tyler Moore i believe, who's been on Insulin for >20 yrs. The Joslin Clinics reputation exceeds by far for medical/diabetes/impotence matters that of fine Magazines such as Barron's or that of fine physicians such as Padma-Nathan. So that they have the last word in authority when a dispute should arise as to the effectiveness of Muse. This is the 2nd nail ( the first one was the AUA's jour of Urology editorial on impotence I mentioned earlier ) to the Barron/PadmaNathan?Alpert article on impotence, and the coffin is now firmly shut. The stock, Vivus, will take it from here, tomorrow. At this time my tendency is to hold on tight to it , for the ride, and not to trade it.
