I don't see your point. Volatility is part of the market. To rag on SNDK seems rather weird. True, it's more volatile than most, but when you consider the context (ie, NASDAQ down 70% as well), well, SNDK's current stock price (compared to its highs) doesn't strike me as being particularly out of line.

Continuing with context, the impending demise of Lexar is significant. For a couple of years now, Lexar has been subsidizing consumer and selling CF cards at a loss (in the process hurting SNDK's margins also) - all on the back of VC and then IPO money. They won't be able to do this much longer.

Do you think flash isn't the way of the future? Or that it's entirely a commodity business going forward?

Finally, it seems to me that SNDK is one of the few companies not using gimmicky accounting.
