Yes, JC. It's still almost a visceral pain to realize...

...that the World Trade Center towers are gone.

I want to see them there in that glorious (hesitate to use that particular word) stunning NYC skyline.

Something that occurs to me, though, is that we put such 'value' on the 'marvels' of engineering, etc.

Innovation is great, no doubt. But at what cost?

Not only in human life risk terms. The occupants. At risk. Every day, working on hundredth-floors of such buildings.

Those buildings were built to make money for the likes of the Donald Trumps of the world.

And all the consulting engineers, etc.

I don't know, J.C.

I've spent 20 years in corporate PR to make a living.

And the past five as a 'retail investor.'

Not much 'makes sense' to me, at this point in time.

Regarding U.S. capitalism.
