By the way Flap most conservatives I know feel the same way about Carter. They liked him as a person. When Reagan beat out Carter I felt sorry for Jimmy Carter. Till this day I think that he had the wrong ideas but that he was a kind and decent man.
One reason that so many conservatives despised Clinton was because he presided over all these rules that he shoved down everybody's throat and then proceeded to break all his own rules with impunity. It left a rotten taste.
