If there was a clear tech direction in which to move, the public will could certainly be stimulated to proceed in light of current events ..... a hydrogen economy, with Victory Gardens of solar cells on every roof and mini-hydro projects all over the hills, high-school kids figuring out the harnessing of wave power on every shore ... that's as far as i get, not being a techie ... might not be the way to go though, maybe something entirely new will come along, or not, or some bandaid 'solution' make the motivation seem to go away Things can certainly be accomplished at times like these ... for hours i've been reading this page - members.iinet.net.au 'PLANE PRODUCTION.
