I doubt 9/11, 'the event' would cause what we experienced. The market is forward looking, and the funds had enough time to catch their breath and not panic.

If the funds were forced to sell due to redemptions, I'd bet they'd sell their losers - figuring they'd have to sell them in a month or two anyway.

At least that's how I figure it.
