Well, I mean, if you were an Iraqi terrorist or an Al Quaeda terrorist, who would you mail anthrax to? Tom Daschle? Dan Rather? Give me a break. I'd bet good money that all over America white power types are high-fiving each other over those two, regardless of whether they did anything to cause it.
Also note that none of the mailings have been to people protected by the Secret Service, e.g, Bush, Clinton, which indicates that whoever is mailing it is not looking to kick over a giant sized ant nest full of federal agents.
If the Palestinians had anthrax, wouldn't they be sprinkling it around Tel Aviv?
If Al Quaeda had anthrax - not sure who they'd target, and I'd rather not give them any ideas.
I see someone mailed some to Pataki, after the speculation started, but none to Guiliani, which should tell you something, IMO. |
