OT They are the FBI and CIA who received information from German intelligence sources that Atta met with Iraqi intelligence twice. As far as bad science, how about this. If you hear a commotion in your house and you find your wife being raped and you have a gun in your hand, will you stop to negotiate with the rapist? I for one would shoot first, make sure my wife is ok, and worry about the rapist later. That is what is happening right now. Our country and citizens are being systematically raped by barbarians with no regard for human life. Self-defense takes precedence over negotiation first and foremost. Once we are secure and our self-declared enemies (both Saddam and Osama have declared themselves as enemies of the U.S.) are either suppressed or killed, then we can talk about negotiation and longer term policy matters.
