Art, I'd agree with you on photovoltaics. However on wind, I work heavily in wind power projects and related transmission (merchant) issues. The costs for wind power projects has been on a long-term decline for the last three years as newer more efficient equipment is developed and operations synergized. This is strictly my opinion, but I believe that renewable energy's role is significantly understated in satisfying our energy needs over the next 20 years....
