(for dummies, I repeat that +$389M - $1,001M in stock repurchases = - $612M of actual money) How about this: you bought a house for $350K in Silicon Valley in 1990, so you "lost" $350K, in your particular way of reasoning right here. Oops, by 2000, that house was worth $1M. I'll take a "loss" like that any day. Tony
